The H&R Group operates a blending and filling business for mineral oil specialties, which is situated in the free trade area of the harbour of Ningbo in the Zhejian province. Ningbo is located about 300 km from Shanghai in a southward direction; after the opening of the bridge over the Yangtze delta in 2007 the route is now reduced to about 150 km.

The business started November 2005 as joint venture with Binheng Hsu as a partner. After assuming the operational management in June 2006, the take-over of all shares by H&R was completed in March 2008, with retroactive effect as of January 2008. The company trades under the firm name of H&R China (Ningbo) Ltd.

This location commands a modern production plant with a storage capacity of 8.000 tons, a state-of-the-art laboratory for the quality assurance of the products and is certified according to the Norms ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004, so as to ensure continuous customer satisfaction.

The efficient filling and loading facilities allow - with an annual capacity of 30.000 tons - the dispatch of products in all possible packages, from small packing units to tankship loadings, thus satisfying the individual customer requirements.

H&R China (ex DAYANG) manufactures amongst others refrigeration oils for compressors of heat transmission machines (refrigerators, air-conditioners). These products are marketed in China under the renowned brand SUNISO.
