H&R ChemPharm (UK) Ltd is headquartered at the production site in Tipton, West Midlands. Founded in 1840 by Joseph Batson, the site maintains its traditional appearance, yet has benefitted from an ongoing modernisation programme since becoming part of the H&R Group in 2004. State-of-the-art production units enable highly efficient precision blending, whilst fully trained and experienced production, laboratory and technical service staff ensure quality assured products are manufactured in conformance with fully accredited quality systems and customer requirements. Sales and customer service personnel use customer relationship management (CRM) software to guarantee the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The H&R ChemPharm (UK) product range includes:
Cable Filling Compounds– a comprehensive series of products for power, telecommunication and fibre optic cables marketed under the world famous Dussek Campbell brand, globally available from our technically experienced sales team or via a network of representatives and distributors.
Strand Blocking Compound – STRANDBLOK designed for the sealing of conductor strands in high voltage AC XLPE cables delivering excellent salt water resistance.
· SAHARA is a water-based polymeric fluid that can be coated onto most supporting matrices to deliver a non-permeable barrier to water.
· TERRASEAL is a non-woven geo-fabric material pre-coated with Sahara for applications where a non-leak, self-healing (puncture resistant) water-blocking barrier is required.
Wax Emulsions: VIVASHIELD and AQUALITE product ranges, are widely used as a water-proofing (hydrophobing) agents in construction products, such as chipboard, MDF and gypsum board. Specialist emulsions using a wide variety of hydrocarbon bases, used in many industries (e.g. drywall) can also be offered.
INTELIGEL – A water-blocking, adhesive, high temperature resistant, sprayable insulator grease with low electrical conductivity.
Refinery Products:
Utilising the strengths of our parent company’s two refineries in Germany, H&R ChemPharm UK distributes a wide range of refinery products, either direct from the refineries or from bulk storage facilities located in the UK.
The range includes:
White Oils - Technical and Pharmaceutical Grades widely used in the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and plastics industries
Process Oils including the next generation of environmentally-friendly plasticisers for the tire and rubber industries
Slack Wax and Paraffin Waxesused in industries as diverse as race track and candle manufacture
Base Oils used in a wide range of lubricant formulations.
